St Augustine...

Our family doesn't normally travel long distances to sing, but we were recently asked to do a family concert in St. Augustine. Everyone was really looking forward to it, especially the boys whose enthusiasm spilled over in the form of questions: "how many days till we leave?", "how long will it take to get there?"

The concert was scheduled for Sunday night and when we arrived and started setting up and practicing, who should walk down the center isle of the church? None other than Uncle Kevin and Aunt Denise! Us older children were in on the secret, but Dad and Mom were certainly surprised. We were so blessed by the support of them and our grandparents who took the time to drive all that way and stay the night with our family.

The 115 year old church was beautiful set right in the middle of the oldest occupied city in the United States. We left that night overflowing with the joy of meeting fellow believers in Christ.

The Lord protected us when our trailer tire blew...

These young men looked so handsome in their little suits...

Our wonderful Grandparents who came all the way from Lakeland...

The acoustics in the church were amazing...

 Watching the sunrise...

If you look closely you can see how our family was featured in the paper...

 Thankful for His blessings...
Ready to do some sightseeing!

This is what happens when we decide to "just look" at the hats...

 Lunch on the water front...
