Vacation Bible School...

Thank you for all who prayed for us during our Vacation Bible School week! We really felt your prayers. We were aware going into this week that the enemy would be out to discourage and hinder us from reaching out to the hearts of the children. The week wasn't without it's "bumps", but we felt the Lords presence through every day and we could see Him opening the children's eyes to His truths.

Our theme for the week was the Life of Daniel. Watching our Dad tell the story is captivating and makes you feel like you're right there along with Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. We definitely saw a few startled jumps and heard a few shocked gasps! The character lessons taught each day were simple and clear and it was such a joy to watch the children listening attentively.

Four children and an adult accepted Christ as their Savior during VBS. It was amazing watching God work in their hearts; the joy so evident on their faces. We thank God for these lives and the seeds that were planted...

We are so grateful to everyone who volunteered to teach lessons, serve lunches and help with crafts. We couldn't have done it without everyone else lending a helping hand.

Our fire station graciously came down on the last day and gave the children a demonstration on how the truck works!

"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is
the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14
