Things Seen and Heard...

A group of eleven from Heritage Bible Church left this past Monday for the country of Honduras, including 5 Hurons! Though we've missed them, they've had life-impacting experiences in just the 6 days there already. Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 13:17: "For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear and have not heard them." Following is a small glimpse of things seen and heard from the lens and pen of Anita and Alexis. Enjoy and stay in touch for more upon their return in a few days....

(Some of the captions to these pictures are portions of what Alexis wrote to us)

"Anita and I are sooo thankful for the backpacks that Ms Cynthia gave us! We have used them every day! They are the perfect lightweight bags to carry around! We have been able to put bunnies and dresses in them..."

"Santos, 74, was saved today on our 2nd day here..."

If anyone remembers a picture of a little girl Ben met on the first trip to Honduras this is her. Her name is Gabriella.

"Fidensio has a viola...he heard I played the violin and thought I would enjoy playing on one of his treasured instruments. If you look closely, you'll notice that it has three strings."

"We gave a dress to Avi and her little baby sister Sepora..."
(Thank you Katie!)

 Washing clothes...

 Please don't pet the pig:)

"We couldn't have asked The Lord for a more perfect has windows all the way around that open! It's narrow and perfect for maneuvering the narrow streets here."

Please keep our family in your prayers!

  1. I loved washing laundry when we went to visit Joes family on the cement "wash boards" they have in their out door sink it was fun :)!

  2. Praying for them and can't wait to hear more of what God has done! Thank y'all for sharing all these pictures!
    Many blessings to y'all...
