Feeling rich...

We are home! It's a slightly bittersweet feeling pulling into one's driveway after two weeks gone. No more crunchy pears picked straight from the tree, no more frosty breath suspended in air or glorious golden leaves crunching underneath our flip-flopped feet:) No more crashing waves, gritty sand and dolphin sightings. We pulled into our driveway and saw that our oaks have decided to keep their very green wardrobes just a little bit longer, and the humidity gave us a very welcoming hug,'s home. We picked up our cat from the "cat hotel" and even though I wouldn't normally think this through about a cat, I must admit say it completed the home effect to have him prowling around our house again:)

We feel rich with everything we experienced on this trip. We met so many people and formed new friendships. We were welcomed into homes where laughter was abundant and love burst from the seams. The food was much too good and we are still talking about it! We played way too many ping-pong matches and drank strong coffee till late hours. We took walks on the beach and built forts in the sand.

"The Lord hath done great things for us: whereof we are glad." Psalm 126:3
